Video Games Reimagined With Classic Book Covers

Anybody who's known me long enough is aware how passionate I am about gaming and the culture surrounding it.Yes,there is a culture, you ignorant pricks.Gamers, unlike their stereotypes in the media, have a life away from the screen and are a pretty well-read lot.I've had the opportunity of chatting with many gamers capable of quoting excerpts from a variety of tomes ranging from Shakespeare to Kurt Vonnegut.

While strolling through Kotaku recently,I came across a pretty interesting article. It seems that a few creative visitors to the Something Awful forums(a griefer community) have started an artist collab,to create classic book covers to their beloved electronic entertainment.

If you love the Vintage Puffin or Penguin series of books, you will appreciate these works of art.Below are a few handpicked ones, the best of the bunch.

Personally,I love the first Hitman Blood Money.the first Sims and Team Fortress 2 covers. How about you?Feel free to drop a few words in the comments section or cbox.
