好累...

有好久没 update 了。知道应该写我生日派对的 entry. 可是发生了好多事...让我整个人在心灵上累垮了。我很快就把过期的 entry 放上，okay?

Just took a hot shower. A long, hot shower. To wash away the unpleasant reminders, smells, sweat, tears, memories, of the clothes I just wore home. The same clothes I wore the night before. And the night before. The clothes stained with sting. With what neglect, oblivion and insensitivity turned into betrayal and deception.

All it took was 2 weeks, or perhaps maybe just 1, I can't be sure, to change the whole dimension of a relationship.

If there's one thing I really cannot stand, it's women who throw themselves at attached men. Knowingly. 

If they're unknowing, then well, I've nothing to say. Women want and need to be loved, after all. I understand that. But please don't throw yourself at attached men. What if you didn't throw yourself at him, but let him know you like him? Or entertain his several calls a day "just to chat" and tell me point-blank in the face there's nothing between the both of you. Betrayal is not when you've slept together, to be considered betrayal. Betrayal is what goes on in the heart. Deception is when you refuse to admit betrayal...

Her words rang in my head. And I start to wonder if he's the man I thought he wasn't. 

妈妈可能说得不是没有道理，我不懂得处理感情，就应该把精神投入在事业。感情是算不到 的，这一点我完全明白，它可以在短短几个星期，甚至几天变质； 感情是可以把我毁掉的。就因为我放得重，又不懂得收，这是我最大的弱点。妈妈还说，只要哪一天有个男人可以比我更有本事疼你，我就放手。

你会是那个人吗？如果不是，我真的放得下吗？还是我应该学会把感情处理得好一点，若真的坏了，人家再也不疼 自己了，该放手时就学会懂得放手。这次如果放了手，就真的给自己2-3年的时间，不碰感情了。大家帮我见证，好吗？

It's over now. I fought tooth and nail to make things right. I hope things are put back into place. He's back home. I'm not sure for how long, or if it's for good, like I wished for. I just know I'm glad, and thankful, he's home. It has put a huge strain on the relationship, on me, especially. But I can't really blame him, can I? After all, when I was neglected before in my past relationship, I sought refuge in other friends, male friends. Maybe it's karma, but I hope I've returned it. I learnt. I got my lesson. It's time to move on, and make beauty again. I never realised I hurt your feelings time and time again. So you turned to seek a breath of fresh air. I don't blame you anymore. Because the fault is not entirely yours. As long as you're back and you want to make it work, that's all that matters.

可能是脱水吧。哭了整整两天，流出的眼泪和鼻涕可能就占了1公斤。再加上前几天都没胃口，不瘦才怪。可能是上天看我之前太开心了，怎么减肥都不成功，给个打击逼我瘦。 因为我是那种受打击就会没胃口的人。

The New Nintendo 3DS Is So Sexay I Jizzed My Pants

Not really, but you get the idea. Though hinted in major Japanese newspaper Asahi in January this year, Nintendo still managed to draw cheers from the crowd at E3 when they revealed the Nintendo 3DS. A successor to the wildly successful Nintendo DS, the handheld could very well be a fashion statement rather than a gaming device. With its colour templates and gloss finish, this is one piece of tech you won't be embarassed to show off in public.

My personal favourite would have to be the red and black ones. Lest you think the 3DS is all style and no substance, here are its specs, found on trusty gaming site Kotaku.

• As promised, this is a glasses-free 3D device
• Two cameras on the outside of the device are for 3D picture taking
• There is a 3D depth slider on the side of the device
• The round nub analog stick is called the "Slide Pad"
• The bottom screen is a touch panel
• Below the touch screen are Select, Home and Start buttons
• Underneath the A, B, X, Y buttons is the handheld's power button
• It has a motion sensor and gyroscope
• The 3DS is compatible with Nintendo DSi
• There is a camera facing the player above the portable's 3D screen
• It has the ability to play 3D Hollywood movies, like Legends of the Guardians from Warner Brothers
• The 3DS launch game will be Kid Icarus: Uprising
• It is a powerful system, featuring improved graphics
• The 3DS periodically searches for WiFi spots and other 3DSs
• It offers easy online navigation
• There is no monthly fee for Nintendo's 3DS online access
• Nintendo is developing 3D Nintendogs
• More than twenty companies have signed on to develop for the 3DS
• The top screen is 3.5 inches
• Nintendo is aiming to have the 3DS's battery life to be the equivalent of the DSi's.
• Nintendo would not provide specifics on the effect of 3D on battery life
• Nintendo is remaking classic games, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
• No cell phone carrier will be needed for the wireless functionally
• The stylus going in from the top part of the lower hinge unit

Commentors at Kotaku have also posted the list of launch titles for the handheld.

With the 3D tech, Nintendo has spruced up the graphic capabilities of its handheld, something which the company is not known for. This brings the 3DS to be comparable, or even more graphics intensive than the Sony Playstation 2 and Playstation Portable.

Here are some shots from cutscenes of the launch titles to lend testament to that fact.

As of now, Nintendo has not yet announce the release date and pricing of the 3DS. Whatever the time or cost, Nintendo fans and gamers in general will be waiting in line by the thousands come launch day. E3 still has a few days left, but Nintendo are clearly the biggest winners this year. After its casual-heavy focus last year, it's good to see Shigeru Miyamoto and Co. coming back to the hardcore.

Friends - MMSP 6 Years Later

One day before my birthday, I was supposed to go for the Omy bloggers' interview, followed by a gathering with some friends whom I haven't seen in yeeeeears....

I remember meeting them 6 years ago. We were all in our before-twenties, nominated by friends (or themselves) to join this beauty pageant known as the Mr and Miss Singapore Polytechnic. We had no idea what to expect, the 12 of us. Obviously we didn't know each other right, since there's like 10000 other students .Okay maybe more...I've zero idea what the school population was. I knew before, since I was one of the executive committee members in the Students' Union, but heck, it's been 6 years....

I remember going there and knowing only this guy called Leonard. I got a sneaky suspicion my SPSU (SP Students' Union) juniors nominated me into this. Though I'd have no idea who exactly. Doesn't matter now. Thanks to him/her, I now have this cool bunch of friends. ^.^ especially Qiuting. That was how we met, and we never looked back since.



We meet up like occasionally, maybe once every 1-2 years (lol~), and this day was no exception. I was late, of course, since my interview started in the evening. But no one's food had arrived so I knew I wasn't TOO late...

Listening intently on, er, I think it was a racist or nationalitist joke. Everyone had to come up with one, and everyone did, except me. I think I'm quite lousy at this. Bleah~

Yah I didn't get a camera for my birthday~ Oh well~~~

Seriously, I was so looking forward to seeing her that day...

You know, after I arrived, I realised that I had forgotten to ask another contestant whom I have been actively msn-ing with along~! I had bever associated her with this group because we've never hung out with her before. And it was only after I got seated that I realised I forgot Terese!!!! Sorry babe!!!!! I think Raj and Leonard (the guys smsing the group) don't have your number! Next gathering jio you must come k? *apologetic* Paiseh Paiseh~~~

The cake was damn nice la!! It was from Four Leaves.

And I swear I've put on weight. Kns...time to diet and work out, again... =( 

You know, I really should go get Photoshop. I was watching an Omy video recently and found out this supposed very chio blogger looked so different from her pictures. And my mum was pissing me off about how I should learn to take pictures like the said blogger. *rolls eyes* I'll save this for another time...

I cut everyone a damn big piece la, considering there were only like 6 of us right?

Benefit Bloggers' Party cum BIRTHDAY!!!!

Benefit. I first knew of this brand when I was in San Francisco some years back. The store was like a Candy store, and everything looked fun and girly. The pretty and quirky packaging appealed to me almost immediately (I'm like that too, no? ^.^), and I bought their signature Benetint (lip and cheek stain) and High Beam (a highlighter). Thus began my affair with Benefit Cosmetics. The brand wasn't available in Singapore then so whenever I go to the States, I'd go check if they have new stuff.

I found out recently that Benetint was originally developed for a stripper to make her nipples appear more pinkish. @.@

Don't apply on your nails hor! This one's for your cheeks and lips!!!

This looks really reddish, but it creates a nice mild rosy hue on wherever you choose to apply it. And it stays!!! I used to use this when I was flying, and the blusher stayed on for 20 over hours!!! 

 This creates a nice glow on your cheeks and along the bridge of the nose. Just dab and blend.

None of us were game enough to have our make-up removed and redone, so poor Daphne, the coordinator for this event, had to sacrifice herself...

See the difference in the left and right side of the face? The make-up demo was done only on the left side.

I had some queries, so I was being demo-ed on to help answer my questions. Because the lady said that when you use Benefit, there is no particular order which you use things. You can already have some make-up on but you can still apply their "That Gal" brightening face primer over your makeup! I was naturally not convinced right? Since putting anything over a powdered face was sure to smudge the foundation and leave the powdered areas cakey. 

This is to be used under make-up or alone, but can apparently be reapplied to brighten your complexion anytime of the day!!! Just pat on. =D

After being introduced to Benefit products, we were asked to make CUPCAKES!!!!!! Okay....decorate them....

Apron was cute, but I super don't like it cos it made me look fatter than I already am!!!! *sobs*

I shall just concentrate on trying to look pretty... lol

I had absolutely no inspiration on what I intended to do, but I just got started and hoped it would get me somewhere.

This has got to be my ugliest piece of artwork. Lol. I remember coming up with not-too-bad stuff while doing "Fun Learning" (the kids' edutainment show), but this was atrocious for my standards. Oh well...in the name of fun. Heh~
