The Evolution Of The Pokemon Centre
With every new game in a franchise,you'd expect major changes in gameplay.Not Pokemon though.With the exception of improved graphics and scope,the series has remained unchanged over the years.Like the old cliche goes,"if it's not broken don't fix it".
But a staple has been undergoing an evolution.And I'm not talking about the Pokemon.It's the Pokemon Centre,the first stop you go to when you reach a new town.From the first game all the way to the upcoming Black/White,the humble building has changed,aesthetics and functions-wise.

Red/Blue
The first version is truly non-descript,blending in with the other buildings.The only way to identify it is the "Poke" inscribed beside the entrance.
Red/Blue (GameBoy Colour version)
Colour comes to the series,though not making much of an impact.Without the "Poke",players would miss it.
Gold/Silver
A wider range of colours were used,though the "Poke" is still necessary in knowing which building is what,as the Pokemon Centre follows in the colour scheme of its town.Each continent sports a different theme,from the brown roofs of the Kanto region to the maroon of Johto.In addition,the PokeCentre allows players to link up to a friend's GameBoy to trade Pokemon or do battle.
Fire/Leaf
Better graphics bring improved designs.The "Poke" has now been traded for the much shorter "P.C.".Again,each continent differs in the style of the roofs.
Diamond/Pearl
Actions speak louder than words.Or in Diamond/Pearl's case,symbols.The curved roof and white PokeBall motif is enough to inform players where to heal.
Heart/Soul
If you thought the game designers are over and done with the Pokemon Centre's design in Diamond/Pearl,you're far wrong.The curved roof is gone,making way for a flat one and glowing windows that show the time of the day.Dark when it's daytime,glowing at night.
Black/White
From early impressions of the yet-to-be-released game,the PokeCentre is now part of a larger building.But the cheerful colours definitely makes it stand out among the monochrome towers that surround it.Rumours online also persist that the PokeMart and PokeCentre are now integrated,making the place the most important to visit second only to the Gyms.

Mario Mushroom
I started this post because this afternoon I had a strong inspiration to write about something.
Then when I got home, I forgot what it was. -.-" Been happening a lot you know....damn amnesia~
I can't remember so I shall just write. Verbal lao sai. Whatever flows....
Yesterday I went to get my hair colour touched-up, followed by a super-goodness hair treatment at Shunji. Halfway through my treatment, my manager said I looked like....
Then when I got home, I forgot what it was. -.-" Been happening a lot you know....damn amnesia~

...the mushroom in Super Mario Bros.....
You know...the ones which you step on and you get points?
Oh...I miss that game...used to be THE game of my era man...wonder if kids these days play Mario.... I know the new one on Wii is like 3D and you can run in all directions, not just forward and back....been meaning to go buy it and play...reminiscence~~~
Yah yah yah....I tend to develop zits on my face before big events....like....5 days before Star Awards... -.-"
And yes...this is without makeup.... (I can't believe I've been posting makeup-less pictures and videos....no photoshop somemore...cannot cannot....if this goes on I'll never get nice endorsements for good facial products....*delusional....*)
I went to my Aunt's baby shower on Sunday~ And I tell you...babies are so cute...especially when they're doing anything but crying or peeing on you or shitting in their diapers....

Okok....I suddenly remember what I wanted to write about...something riding-related. (Yes, I hear you Jos...that "Finally~!!!!" haha~)

I'm Yours (Cover)
Hello~
As promised, here's the video...I can't seem to open it in Youtube, and I'm not sure what the problem is.
Nowadays I keep getting this "error occured" thing on youtube. Is it just my laptop or it's the same everywhere huh?
Anyways, anyone heard of this "Snowball USB mic" by Blue. I read reviews saying it's a damn good USB mic, with quality as good as a professional studio mic. Am trying to get it, then I'll have better sound quality videos.
Recorded this with just my laptop inbuilt webcam and mic.

The Husher - follow up
Some days ago I posted a review on the Husher, meant to control doggy's barking. Well, I took Size 4A, and it was too long for Alton, though the snout fitted nicely. In the end I had to cut the Husher to make it shorter to fit Alton's shorter snout. For Shih Tzus, forget about using this cos their face is almost flat.
Alton wearing the Husher. He's getting used to wearing it now. When I first put it on for him, he kept struggling to pull it off his face, which made me super xim tia when I saw him doing it.
Notice how his mouth can still open? That was what the Husher promised, so the dog can still breathe, pant, eat and drink while wearing it. When they bark, they need to open their mouths wider, and that's where this thing works. It supposedly exerts a pressure around the snout so the dog gets tired after barking a few barks. This is a trainingtool , so don't expect it to magically work overnight. I put this on him whenever he barks for no good reason, for about a good 15 minutes. If he stays quiet, I remove it.So hopefully, after a while, he'll associate barking with having this on, which may discourage him from barking unnecessarily.
